Hello! I'm here from :iconprojectcomment:'s comment tag game! My tag word was "funny," and I chose this deviation because I think it's hilarious how godzilla is facing off against a turtle. xD

First of all, your coloring in this picture is absolutely gorgeous! The sky especially catches my attention, and how beautifully all the different colors blend together. The lineart and black shadows look fabulous and really help to give it a dramatic, epic, final battle sort of feeling. The colors on the turtle help to give it a scaly look, which can be hard to accomplish, but you really nailed it! The burning city in the background is also a nice touch, really adds to the feeling of mayhem and destruction in this picture. I also like how you wrote their names at the top of the page to match their respective appearances. This looks like it could be the cover of a movie or book!

One thing I notice about this piece is that there's a lot of empty space. Maybe increasing the size of Godzilla and the turtle would help to take up some of that space, and also give a greater sense of their sheer size. Also, I think the city in the background would fit in better with the rest of the image if it was drawn a bit more realistically, with the same dramatic shadows that we see on Godzilla. And for the smoke, it seems to be in one consistent shape, but maybe adding a variety of different-shaped puffs of smoke rising to the air would help it to feel more natural. :)

Overall this is such a lovely piece and you did a fantastic job. Your traditional art is amazing as usual, and the level of coloring skill you've shown in this is just incredible! Keep up the great work~

Now it's your turn! Look through sutoroberikurimu's gallery, and your tag word is "Round." Have fun! ^^
